Welcome Back Elementary Eagles!

Dear Students, Families, and Community,

We are looking forward to seeing our Preschool-6th grade students soon! My name is Kristen Sebesta and I am thrilled to join the Soap Lake School District as your new Elementary Principal. I am honored to work alongside our dedicated and passionate staff members and look forward to building relationships with YOU-our amazing students, families, and community members.

As we begin another exciting school year, I want to extend a warm welcome back to all our returning students and families, and a special welcome to those joining our school community for the first time. 

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 27th from 8:15-2:45.

NEW Elementary school hours for the 25-26 school year: 

Monday

8:50 AM doors, breakfast, and playground open

9:15 AM School Starts

2:45 PM Dismissal 

Tuesday-Friday

7:50 AM doors, breakfast, and playground open

8:15 AM School Starts

2:45 PM Dismissal 

School supervision will begin at 8:50 (Monday) and 7:50 (Tue-Fri) and will end at 3:00 PM. 

Elementary Conferences, August 20th and 21st, 4:00-7:00

On Wednesday, Aug 20th and Thursday, August 21st from 4-7 PM you are invited to meet with your child’s teacher during our Conferences and Open House time. These conferences will be scheduled using Parent Square. 

On Thursday, we will also be hosting a Community BBQ from 4:00-7:00.  Hotdogs, chips, bottled water and a treat will be provided. Also, members of our FFA will be showing off their grilling/smoking abilities and will be providing some samples. Be sure to get there early and support their efforts. We hope to see you there! 

Elementary Cell Phone Policy

We will continue to follow the district’s cell phone policy to help students stay focused and engaged in learning. Your child will check-in their cell phone at the office upon arrival each morning. The cell phone will be returned to your child at the end of the school day. This will ensure everyone can concentrate on instruction, collaborate with classmates, and participate fully. 

I am eager to begin this year with energy, collaboration, and a shared commitment to our students’ success. Thank you for your continued support of our youngest Eagles!

Welcome to Soap Lake Elementary School

At Soap Lake Elementary, we are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student is supported to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Serving students from preschool through 6th grade, our school community is built on strong relationships, family involvement, and a shared commitment to student success.

We are excited to welcome our new principal, Kristen Sebesta, who brings 16 years of experience in education and a deep passion for instructional leadership, collaboration, and community engagement. Mrs. Sebesta is proud to join the Eagle team and looks forward to partnering with families and staff to support all learners.
